Charitable Loans and Donations
Anyone can make a loan or donation to help us acquire and sustain equitable, affordable housing in existing neighborhoods .
Loans of $1,000 or more at no interest lower our financing costs to help achieve our goal of keeping rents affordable $300 to $400 below market rates without rental subsidies. Lenders receive a promissory note and their principal is returned after 10 years when we refinance. Charitable loans help us attract grants and qualify for other loans for development.
Renting Partnerships is a private 501.c.3 charitable organization. Currently, our Board Members volunteer to do the work of the organization. We are seeking funding to hire paid staff. Donations of any amount help cover operating expense.
