Renting Partnerships’ works to:
1. Create partnerships with investors and owners to provide quality, affordable housing that is operated as a renter equity exchange. RP provides organizational, legal, administrative and financial services to help other socially conscious organizations to finance and manage affordable community-based housing.
2. Educate property owners, renters, managers, housing agencies and the general public to broaden understanding of the renter equity exchange concept and methodology, so that it can be applied consistently and integrated into the funding strategies of developers and agencies that provide affordable housing.
3. Establish and model best practices in community-based management in order to assist low income people to build assets and skills needed to reduce debt and gain new economic choices.
4. Institute standards and procedures for accountability in renter equity exchanges.
